How does the estate sale process work?

You don’t need to lift a finger — we do it all.
How far in advance should I schedule a sale?
Ideally, contact us 3–6 weeks before you need the sale. This allows time for scheduling, marketing, and proper pricing. However, we can often accommodate shorter timelines.
Do you handle valuables or high-end collections?
Yes. Our certified appraisers specialize in fine art, jewelry, and collections. High-value pieces receive individual research, professional appraisal, and targeted marketing to qualified buyers.
How are fees and commissions structured?
Estate Collectables works on a commission basis, usually a percentage of total sales. This covers setup, marketing, staffing, and post-sale cleanup.
There are no upfront costs — we only get paid when your items sell.
When and how do I get paid?
You’ll receive a detailed sales report and payment (check or bank transfer) within 7–14 business days after the sale concludes.
